Tess Dongarra
Tess is the daughter of company founder Ron Slavin and has been helping Cabinet Country in some capacity since before she could walk. Today, with her immense experience and incredible eye for design, she creates remarkable spaces. Don’t be surprised if you see her carrying in tall cabinets or boxes of flooring, she is our Wonder Woman!
Scott Myers
Just a few years after completing his degree in Interior Design from UW-Stout, Scott started at Cabinet Country when we were still downtown on S River St. Thirty plus years later, he’s a whiz at the intricate details behind cabinet layout and surfacing challenges. We affectionately refer to him as our resident “Hinge Master”.
Becka Freed
Our own Allied ASID accredited interior designer is the newest member of the Cabinet Country staff. Becka lands in Janesville after spending years in Boulder, CO, Palo Alto, CA, New York, NY and Chicago, IL. Her exposure lends a sophisticated eye to material selection, and her time in a 278 square foot apartment in NYC means she can make any size space work!
NINA PERONA
After many years of leading Janesville Gazette newspaper advertising for Cabinet Country, Nina was ready for a new career and we are lucky to have her as our design assistant. Nina handles many countertop, backsplash and flooring jobs on her own, as well as helping the designers with pulling samples for the vignettes we love to present to our customers.
